Each patient starts with a comprehensive virtual visit to review their medical history and create a personalized care plan. We coordinate labs, imaging, and prescriptions, provide regular follow-ups, adjust medications based on clinical guidelines, and offer fast support between visits.

Founders Bio
Claire Beskin, CEO & Founder, has prior work experience in consulting, finance, and product management. She earned an MBA from MIT and a BA from Dartmouth College.
Dana Weisshaar, MD, FACC, is the Medical Director of Empallo. Dr. Weisshaar previously served as an advanced heart failure cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California for over 20 years and served as Chief & Medical Director of the Heart Transplant Service and Local Research Chair for 17 years. Dr. Weisshaar earned her Medical Degree from the Medical College of Ohio/University of Toledo College of Medicine. She completed her combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics internship and Internal Medicine residency in Toledo before pursuing fellowships in Cardiology and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiology at California Pacific Medical Center.
Origin Story
Claire Beskin, CEO & Founder, became interested in healthcare at a young age—she grew up in a family with several healthcare providers, most of whom said, “Don’t go into healthcare.” Naturally, that got Claire curious, and made her want to fix it. Then, in 2021, Claire’s grandmother passed away from undiagnosed heart failure, and that ultimately set her on the path to start Empallo.
