Founders Bio
David Lord is a 3x Entrepreneur and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Exiting all 3 of his previous companies, David has gotten to develop close relationships with companies like Walt Disney Company, Kellogg’s Cereal, NCAA, NFL, MLB, DreamWorks, Smithsonian, Fox Sports, and others. David is a lifelong fly fisherman with 25+ years' experience fishing with guides. He started Guidesly as a passion project that combines his love for fly fishing, guide experiences, and being an entrepreneur.
Origin Story
In the last decade, outdoor recreation guides have adopted the job titles of "content creator, SEO expert, marketing guru, etc.", all to continue doing what they love for a living -- guiding! David saw how many hats these guides were taking on to keep their businesses afloat & decided to build something that would help their business flourish in a hands-off way, thus Guidesly was born.
