NARSSA’s mission is to advocate for Social Security understanding by making it clear, accessible, and actionable for every American.
Founders Bio
Michael Rosedale, CPA, and Martha Shedden, CRPC, co-founded RSSA to bridge the Social Security knowledge gap. Michael brings 40+ years of tax and small business expertise, while Martha, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, is a leading national expert in Social Security education. Both are dedicated to helping Americans maximize their Social Security benefits.
Origin Story
Michael Rosedale, CPA, saw his clients needed Social Security guidance—but like many financial professionals, he lacked expertise. He asked, “Would I send tax clients to the IRS for advice? Then why send them to the SSA for Social Security advice?” Teaming up with Social Security educator Martha Shedden, they created RSSA, initially as an education program for CPAs and tax professionals.
