Mendel Erlenwein is the founder and CEO of CareCo. He previously built Previva Health Group, leading large-scale care-coordination operations. As host of the Healthcare Trailblazers podcast, Mendel brings together product and operations expertise to design tools that augment—never replace—care coordinators and help older adults thrive at home.
Origin Story
CareCo was founded with the belief that technology should amplify—not replace—the human connection at the heart of healthcare. After seeing firsthand how fragmented systems and manual processes left care teams overburdened and patients underserved, Mendel Erlenwein set out to build a solution that transforms routine phone and video check-ins into powerful, coordinated action steps. CareCo was born to ensure older adults receive the timely, personalized support they need to avoid preventable ER visits and live independently longer.
