About
Happitech is a CE-marked AI-powered software solution that uses PPG to detect the leading cardiac arrhythmia, Atrial Fibrillation, via any smartphone within 90 seconds. It is fully interoperable and provides affordable access to AF diagnosis for cardiac patients and population health management.
Happitech aims to provide accessible, low cost ways of monitoring patients heart using everyday devices.
Origin Story
No one could work out why my father's heart was racing. He spent 12 months in and out of the hospital with 3 different cardiac monitoring devices. Eventually, he was later diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation and underwent treatment that has since stabilised his condition and helped him return to normal family life.
Having witnessed my father’s experience, and the impact it had on all of our family, I wanted to use my expertise in engineering and AI to change all of this.
