Founders Bio
John A. Martino II is a visionary technologist and serial entrepreneur who has launched 7 businesses with three public company exits. Before synseer, John’s ventures launched “Tech to Protect,” tools including a disaster communication tool used during the Boston Marathon. John’s life’s work continues to be improving health outcomes through personal, scalable, data-driven health solutions.
Origin Story
synseer’s origins trace to founder and CEO John A. Martino II’s work in post-earthquake Haiti, where he developed an RFID-enabled wristband to make medical information more portable. Post-Haiti, he has pursued prevention-focused wearable solutions, identifying the ear as an underused sensing surface. After five years of research, he founded synseer in 2023 with the goal to improve healthspan.
