Starling is a Y Combinator and AARP AgeTech Collaborative backed digital health company building an at-home urine monitoring platform that can seamlessly integrate into anybody’s daily bathroom routine. Through our FDA registered medical device, UrinDx™, and our AI-powered monitoring platform, we proactively connect patients to their health insights and to clinical care when necessary to help prevent hospitalizations from urinary tract infections. Eventually, we aim to monitor other chronic conditions such as cancer, diabetes, kidney disease, and dozens more. Starling’s patented technology has been clinically validated with a clinical study at Stanford University, reimbursed by Medicare, and has 100% compliance with our current patients using UrinDx™ 3-5 times a day.
Founders Bio
I am an experienced healthcare innovator with a background in research and development engineering at Johnson & Johnson and Medtronic as well as establishing the Innovation Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center, focused on developing and funding early surgical innovations. As a founder of Starling Medical, I am dedicated to bringing the first FDA registered at-home urine screening product to patients with chronic health conditions.
