About Us

Thinkie's mission is to improve the world's cognitive health. We have developed a NIRS-based (infrared) wearable sensor that provides real-time neurofeedback of the brain's activity in the prefrontal cortex. Complementing the sensor is an app that assesses brain age, guides the user's brain training regimen, and adapts to ensure a consistent challenge. The app tracks brain activity during adaptive neuroscientist-designed games and also for off-screen training.

Founders Bio

Kota Ageiwa, CEO of Thinkie Inc, has 14 years of experience in Business Development and Management at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Origin Story

The Thinkie story starts with our CEO, Kota Ageiwa. He grew up in Sapporo on Hokkaido, Japan, where he spent his formative years with his grandfather, who played a very special role in Kota's life. Regrettably, his grandfather suffered from dementia in his later life, eventually succumbing to the disease. Kota's experience made him immensely curious about brain health and a determined advocate for preserving humans' cognitive acuity.
