The platform improves the patient and clinician experience, closes gaps in health equity, and improves outcomes, which lowers cost of care.
Founders Bio
Carolyn Treviño Jenkins is a serial tech entrepreneur with exits 10x capital. She has an MBA from the University of Texas.
Alex Grishaver has a cancer care human centered design background from IDEO and a Master of Design.
Shea Mencel built impact programs at Eisenhower Fellowships. After her 2nd cancer diagnosis, she became an integrative health coach. She has a BA in International Relations.
Origin Story
Brought together by Livestrong, We Are Here founders are survivors and caregivers. Carolyn was CEO of a software company when diagnosed with cancer and handed an overwhelming binder. Shea had so many gaps in care, she returned to school to address them. Alex supported both his wife and mother through cancer. He struggled to find resources for them and himself. We lived the challenges we now solve.
