Founders Bio
Kevin Yoo is the CEO and co-founder of Haptic, a company at the forefront of developing touch-based navigation products. With a degree in Industrial and Product Design from Pratt Institute and over nine years of experience, he is dedicated to creating intuitive and impactful solutions for diverse audiences. His work focuses on leveraging technology to improve user interactions and experiences.
Origin Story
Haptic was inspired when a close colleague of the company became blind after a car accident and struggled mightily with standard navigation apps. Motivated to improve accessibility, Haptic developed and patented vibrational navigation technology. A major milestone was helping a blind runner complete the NYC marathon unassisted using only Haptic technology.
