Founders Bio
Mark Elias, the CEO/CTO, is an expert in structural engineering with a focus on vibration dynamics, having studied at the University of Toronto. His experience developing tuned mass damping systems for reducing building vibrations during earthquakes was instrumental in the creation of Steadiwear's products.
Emile manages the marketing operation. He has built a team of specialists to optimize digital marketing results and has developed partnerships with distributors in the US and internationally. Emile also completed an MBA from Cornell in 2023.
Origin Story
Mark and Emile met in 2014, one year before founding Steadiwear. They were introduced by a mutual friend and realized that both of their families were affected by tremors—leading them to make it their mission to address the problem through innovative engineering.
