About Us
Counterforce Health is an AI powered platform that helps individuals and small medical clinics fight health insurance claim denials through automated appeal letter generation, step-by-step guidance, and AI powered voice AI agents. The company addresses a critical market need, as over 50 million insurance claims are denied annually but less than 1% are appealed, leading to medical debt and care delays for patients while costing small clinics over $19 billion per year in administrative burden.

Origin Story
The origin story of Counterforce Health is rooted in co-founder Neal Shah's personal struggle against denied health insurance claims while he cared for his loved ones. After facing over $100,000 in denials, including a $32,000 tumor bill, he saw how insurance companies "weaponized AI" to overwhelm patients. In 2025, he founded Counterforce Health to fight back with the same technology, empowering patients to take on the "Goliath" of the healthcare system.
