Oatmeal Health is an AI-enabled cancer screening platform dedicated to improving early detection and health equity for underserved populations. We partner with Federally Qualified Health Centers to provide comprehensive, no-cost screening services, leveraging advanced AI technology and clinical support. Our mission is to increase cancer screening rates, improve outcomes, and serve as a minority data broker for diverse clinical trials, ultimately saving lives through early detection and innovative research.
Founders Bio
Jonathan Govette, CEO: Healthcare entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience. Founded ReferralMD and now revolutionizes cancer screening for underserved communities using AI.
Dr. Ashish Basuray, COO: PhD in Chemistry, co-founded PreScouter, and founded Firstlook AI. Expert in R&D and AI for healthcare.
Dr. Yuri Ahuja, CTO: MD/PhD from Harvard, expert in machine learning and EHR data analysis.
Origin Story
Oatmeal Health was born from personal tragedy. Founder Jonathan Govette lost multiple family members to cancer, including his grandfather, whom he couldn't say goodbye to due to late detection. These experiences in underserved healthcare settings sparked a mission: leveraging AI to revolutionize cancer screening for marginalized communities. Partnering with FQHCs, Oatmeal Health aims to close the health equity gap and save lives through early detection.
