About
Our Kibeam Wand, a handheld device embedded with AI, recognizes book covers, pages, images, and words, enhancing a child's engagement with reading. Equipped with a speaker, microphone, motion-sensing hardware, image sensor, beam generator, and WiF/Bluetooth connectivity, our device offers a multisensory learning approach. Beyond engaging children in a read-aloud experience, it has the potential for classroom applications providing formative assessments of a child's development, supporting language, literacy, and executive function skills.
Leading children’s book publishers, educational institutions, and foundations focused on early childhood education recognize the potential the Kibeam Wand has to engage young readers and provide valuable data on literacy program efficacy. We are launching a pilot program with the New Worlds Reading Initiative this year and have plans to expand into other state and local reading programs in 2024 and beyond.
