Ostrich provides a mobile app, both direct to consumers and through employers as an employee benefit, that enables people to achieve their financial goals based on their life milestones.
Our approach employs financial challenges that provide a pathway to goal achievement based on a user's life milestones, and combines the power of social accountability with regular checkin-ins. We don't link to bank accounts, nor do we provide financial services.
Founders Bio
CEO William Glass witnessed his parents get divorced because of money; over a dozen years later, both are still picking up the pieces. His background is in software sales leading sales teams at Gartner and opening up a new vertical for an AI startup, Remesh. He loves reading about astrophysics and dressed up as Luke Skywalker 3 Halloweens in a row as a kid.
COO Andrew Holliday grew up in England and returned to the US to play soccer at Rollins College. Andrew has previous entrepreneurial experience, creating a photo montage business as an undergrad. He received his MBA from the University of Rochester, and is experienced in leading remote teams from his time as Houlihan Lokey. Andrew has seen his father become the family member responsible for managing all of his close relatives' financial affairs, and is acutely aware of how reliant they are on him to do that.
