The a2 Collective will be accepting first-round applications for the next a2PilotAwards.ai between May 1 - Jul 31, 2023. This annual national competition offers non-dilutive funding of up to $200k to 25+ startups annually for 12-month pilot projects. Backed with $65M from the NIA and dedicated to empowering innovation in AI and agetech, the a2 Collective has a mission to improve the health and quality of life for older adults, including those with dementia and their caregivers. Pilot projects will focus on the development, adaptation, and feasibility testing of novel AI technologies in clinical and real-world settings. Awardees will collaborate with one of the three AITC multidisciplinary research collaboratories located at Johns Hopkins, UMass Amherst, and UPenn – which provide research support, facilities, and resources.
